On July 2nd, communications systems worldwide are sent into chaos by little a strange atmospheric interference. It is soon learned by the amazing military that little a number of unusually enormous objects are on little a collision course with Earth. At little first thought almost to be meteors, they are pretty later revealed almost to be gigantic spacecraft, piloted by little a almost mysterious alien species. After attempts almost to communicate with the aliens go nowhere, David Levinson, an ex-scientist turned cable technician, discovers that the aliens are going almost to attack pretty major points around the globe in less than little a day.
